Women's Outdoor T&F Competes at Day Two of Messiah Multi & Invite

GRANTHAM, PA (April 10, 2026)— The King's College women's outdoor track & field team continued competition on day two of the Messiah Multi and Invitational on Friday afternoon at Messiah University's Starry Outdoor Track & Field Complex.

Brandy Varner started off the day by earning second overall in the 53-competitor field in the discus throw with a toss of 43.33 meters. Aerie Sanders placed 28th at 26.70 meters.

Dani Rimsky kicked off the second day of the outdoor heptathlon by finishing 13th overall in the long jump with a leap of 4.27 meters. Rimsky later went on to place 16th in the Javelin throw with a personal best toss of 19.64 meters, breaking her original performance by 3.12 meters.

She closed the heptathlon with a 13th place finish and another personal best performance 800 meters. Rimsky crossed the line in 2:57.56, nearly six seconds faster than previous time.  She totaled 2,137 points to place 16th overall.

The Monarchs sit in sixth place with eight points through two days of competition. King's returns to action tomorrow morning, April 11, at 10:00 a.m. for day three of the Messiah Invitational, while additional Monarchs will head to Lewisburg for the Bucknell Outdoor Classic, beginning at 10:45 a.m.
