EDWARDSVILLE, PA (April 11, 2026) -- The King's College men's tennis team returned to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom action Saturday afternoon, falling 6-1 to Arcadia University at Kirby Park. The Monarchs move to 1-9 on the season, while the Knights improve to 9-3.

Arcadia collected points throughout singles play, beginning at the top of the lineup. Tim John competed at No. 1 singles and dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Aaron Allen. At No. 2 singles, Amir Samadian was defeated by Kevin McHale, 6-0, 6-0.

Gavin Hall battled in the third spot but fell 6-1, 6-4 to Luis Figueiredo. At No. 4 singles, Logan Tomkins dropped a 6-3, 6-1 match to Leo Dupont. The Knights extended their lead at No. 5 singles as Denim Horsford topped Zackary Bedwell, 6-4, 6-2.

King's earned its lone point at No. 6 singles by forfeit, with William Savner awarded the win when Arcadia was unable to field a player.

Doubles play followed with Arcadia securing two completed matches. John and Hall fell 6-0 at No. 1 doubles to Allen and Dupont. At No. 2 doubles, Samadian and Savner dropped a 6-0 decision to McHale and Figueiredo. The Monarchs picked up the No. 3 doubles point by forfeit, as Bedwell and Tomkins were awarded the win.
The Monarchs wrap up their spring home slate tomorrow morning, hosting Elizabethtown College in a nonconference match. First serve against the Blue Jays is slated for 9:00 a.m.
