CENTER VALLEY, PA (April 14, 2026) -- The King's College women's tennis team continued Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play Tuesday afternoon, falling 6-1 to DeSales University at the DeSales Tennis Courts. The Monarchs move to 0-11 on the season and 0-5 in conference action, while the Bulldogs improve to 4-7 overall and 2-1 in MAC Freedom play.

Singles competition featured a highlight performance at the top of the lineup.
Carlee Dellose opened at No. 1 singles and earned the lone point of the afternoon for King's, battling through an extended three‑set match against Noelle Holderith. After dropping the opening set 6-2, Dellose answered with a 6-4 second‑set win before closing the match with a 10-6 victory in the third‑set super tiebreak.

At No. 2 singles,
Kimberly Dinh was defeated by Julia Wiest, 6-1, 6-1.
Miley Caetano fell to Kate Gomez by matching 6-0 scores at No. 3 singles, while
Madeline Sirianni dropped a pair of 6-1 decisions to Haley Maloney at No. 4.
Allison Van Pelt competed at No. 5 singles and suffered consectutive 6-1, 6-1 setbacks against Caroline Prince. The Bulldogs secured the final singles point by forfeit at the No. 6 position.

Doubles play followed with DeSales taking all three flights. Dellose and Dinh stayed competitive at No. 1 doubles but fell 6-4 to Holderith and Wiest. At No. 2 doubles, the duo of Caetano and Van Pelt dropped a 6-0 decision to Gomez and Maloney. The Bulldogs closed doubles play with a win by forfeit at No. 3.
The Monarchs return to action on Friday, April 24 to take on Wilkes University in a road match at the Ralston Complex Tennis Courts. First serve against the Colonels is set for 3:00 p.m.
