DOYLESTOWN, PA (April 25, 2026) — The King's College men's lacrosse team closed out its season with a commanding 15–6 victory over Delaware Valley University on Saturday afternoon.
King's wasted no time setting the tone, opening the scoring at the 9:33 mark as Connor Walsh converted a man-up opportunity off a feed from Miles Wilson. Wilson added an unassisted tally late in the quarter to give the Monarchs a 2–0 lead after one.
The Monarchs took full control in the second quarter, outscoring the Aggies 4–0 in the frame. Braydon Buckingham and Walsh each scored unassisted goals, while Ryan Lynch added a man-up strike assisted by EJ Schreiner. Schreiner capped the scoring in the quarter with an unassisted goal to send King's into halftime with a 6–0 advantage.
Delaware Valley got on the board early in the third, but King's responded with a dominant stretch. Walsh and Schreiner each scored unassisted before Buckingham added another goal to push the lead to 9–2. Walsh then completed his hat trick with a man-up goal from Josh Hilpp, and Ryan Lynch followed with another man-up tally assisted by Schreiner to extend the lead to 11–2 heading into the final quarter.
King's continued its offensive rhythm in the fourth, scoring four more times. Wilson opened the quarter with an unassisted goal before Lynch finished a feed from Buckingham. Walsh then delivered his fifth goal of the game—a career high—off an assist from Wilson, and Wilson capped the Monarch scoring with his third goal, assisted by Brenden Lynch. Delaware Valley added four late goals, but the outcome was never in doubt as King's secured the 15–6 win.
Walsh led the Monarch offense with a career-best five goals, while Wilson and Ryan Lynch each added three goals. Schreiner contributed two goals and two assists, and Buckingham chipped in two goals and an assist. Lynch's three-goal performance also pushed him to a program-record 40 goals on the season.
Defensively, Chris O'Mara recorded three ground balls to surpass the 100 career ground ball milestone, while Buckingham also reached the 100 career ground ball mark, highlighting a strong all-around effort.
In goal, Ryan Rickards made 12 saves over 54 minutes of action, while Owen Rosenburg added four saves in relief.
King's held advantages in shots (54–41) and ground balls (36–28) while edging Delaware Valley in faceoffs (11–10), controlling play throughout the afternoon.
