Rimsky Competes in the Heptathlon on Day One of the Messiah Multi & Invitational

GRANTHAM, PA (April 9, 2026)— King's College sophomore Dani Rimsky competed in the heptathlon on day one of the Messiah Multi & Invitational at the Starry Outdoor Track & Field hosted by Messiah University on Thursday afternoon afternoon.

Rimsky began the first day of the outdoor heptathlon by finishing fifteenth overall in the women's 100-meter hurdles with a time of 19.97 seconds. She went on to place tenth in the shot put with a throw of 7.22 meters.

In her final event of the day, Rimsky placed 15th in the 200-meter dash by crossing the line in 30.58 seconds. Rimsky currently sits in 17th with 1,096 points.

The sophomore standout returns to action tomorrow, April 10 at 12:00 p.m., as she starts off day two of the heptathlon with the long jump. The rest of the King's College women's outdoor track and field team additionally begin to compete at the Messiah Multi & Invitational with the discus throw and the 10,000-meter run.
