WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 1, 2026) -- With the 2026 spring semester in the books and the official start of summer approaching, Head Coach Bernie Kachinko and the King's College women's volleyball team have announced dates for the 2026 King's College Girl's Volleyball Camp. The camp will be held from July 6-9 in Scandlon Gymnasium.
The camp is open to girls entering grades 8-through-12 for the start of the 2026-27 academic year. Activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m. for the duration of the camp. The camp is designed to provide a fun, challenging and educational volleyball experience. Quality instruction will be provided at stations, lectures, competitions and games in an enthusiastic and safe manner. It is our hope that each camper has a very positive and fun-filled week while gaining skills to help them become a better volleyball player.
Coach Kachinko is entering his 34th year as the King's College head women's volleyball coach. He has recorded over 620 wins, 32 tournament championships, 57 MAC All-Conference players, and 192 MAC Academic Honor Roll players. Kachinko is also entering his seventh year with the men's team with a 92-64 record, including three top-40 rankings over the program's first six years.
