WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 1, 2026) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced another round of its 2026 Academic All-MAC teams Wednesday morning, with King's College standout Owen Foytack earning recognition on the Men's Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC Team.

A total of 10 men's indoor track & field student-athletes from across the MAC were recognized for their academic and athletic excellence. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote for the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight to both academic and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
 
Foytack earns his second Academic All-MAC honor - and first for the indoor season - following a standout graduate campaign that saw the distance runner garner First Team All-MAC honors and USTFCCCA All-Region recognition in both the mile and as a member of the distance medley relay. The Moscow, PA native captured the MAC Indoor Championship title in the mile (4:18.15) while anchoring the distance medley relay to a runner-up finish and program-record time of 10:17.62 at the conference meet.
 
Foytack competed at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, placing 20th in the mile (4:18.18). He set a program record in the mile with a time of 4:07.41 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, while owning nine of the top 10 times in program history, and added another school record with a second-place finish in the 3,000 meters (8:34.85) at the Nittany Lion Challenge. Foytack also earned MAC Track Athlete of the Week honors while ranking among the top-30 performers in the region in the 800 meters, mile, 3,000 meters, and distance medley relay.
 
A physician assistant graduate student, Foytack also excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.67 GPA during the spring semester and garnering CSC Academic All-District® recognition.
