WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 15, 2026) -- The King's College football program has announced the addition of
Brennan Robinson as an assistant coach, head coach Mike Cebrosky announced on Wednesday, welcoming another former Monarch and one of the most accomplished running backs in recent program history back to the program.

Robinson returns to King's following a standout playing career that saw him develop into one of the premier running backs in the Middle Atlantic Conference. A two-time All-MAC First Team selection, 2021 MAC Rookie of the Year, and two-time Academic All-MAC honoree, Robinson helped the Monarchs capture the 2024 MAC Championship and advance to the NCAA Division III Football Championships.

"Coach Robinson is unrivaled in his ability on and off the field," said Cebrosky. "It is very rare to bring someone of his success back to coach and show how it is done the right way. He will be a huge asset to our football staff."

Over his four seasons on the field, Robinson accumulated 2,923 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns while averaging 6.9 yards per carry. He added 41 receptions for 372 yards and three touchdowns, proving to be one of the most versatile offensive weapons in the conference.
As a senior in 2025, Robinson led the Monarchs with 1,137 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, earning First Team All-MAC honors for the second consecutive season. He posted a pair of three-touchdown performances against Stevenson and Alvernia while averaging 110.7 rushing yards per game.

Robinson burst onto the collegiate scene in 2021, earning King's first-ever MAC Rookie of the Year award after rushing for 662 yards and seven touchdowns. His breakout performance against Albright featured 230 rushing yards and three touchdowns, earning MAC Offensive Player of the Week and D3football.com Team of the Week recognition.

In addition to his success on the field, Robinson excelled academically throughout his collegiate career. He was a four-time MAC Academic Honor Roll selection, a two-time Academic All-MAC honoree, and joined the team's prestigious Single Digit Tough group during the 2024 campaign.

Off the field, Robinson gained valuable professional experience through internships with the Philadelphia Union and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, working in team operations, event management, and game-day administration.

"As a past King's College athlete, I'm excited to contribute to the football program from a different side of it; ready for what's in store and eager to learn the game of football from a different perspective!"

Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Sports Management from King's College. He served as the treasurer of the Black Student Union (BSU) on campus and also participated in the Captains Club.

As an assistant coach, Robinson will assist with all aspects of the King's football program, including player development, recruiting, practice preparation, and game-day operations.
