Thompson guided Lebanon Valley to a 6-5 overall record and a 6-3 mark in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play in 2025, leading the Dutchmen to their third Centennial-MAC Bowl Series appearance in four seasons. Under his leadership, safety Carter Foust earned D3football.com All-America honors and D3football.com All-Region recognition. Prior to his promotion, Thompson served as Lebanon Valley's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2021-24, helping develop one of the MAC's top offenses while coaching 13 All-MAC offensive selections. A veteran coach with more than 22 years of collegiate and professional experience, Thompson has worked with 38 All-MAC players during his time at Lebanon Valley.
