WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 11, 2026) -- The Monarchs are gearing up for year two under head coach Race Bennett as King's College announced its 2026-27 men's ice hockey schedule. King's is slated for 25 regular-season contests, including 12 home games at Revolution Ice Centre, as the Monarchs prepare for another run through the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).

The Monarchs begin the year with a pair of road exhibition contests, traveling to Hobart on October 23 and Cortland on October 24.

King's officially opens the regular season, home schedule, and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) slate on November 3 when the Monarchs host Neumann at Revolution Ice Centre at 7:00 p.m. The first road conference game follows on November 13 at Stevenson before King's returns home to welcome Lebanon Valley on November 14 at 4:00 p.m.

The Monarchs then travel to Albright on November 20 in what will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs, as the Lions prepare for their inaugural season of competition. King's returns to the road the following day for a matchup at Misericordia before making the short trip back to Coal Street for a non-conference showdown at Wilkes on November 24.

Following the Thanksgiving break, the Monarchs return home for a pair of contests against Elmira on November 27 at 7:00 p.m. and Nazareth on November 28 at 4:00 p.m. King's opens December with a road contest at Misericordia on December 4 before welcoming the Cougars to Wilkes-Barre on December 5 at 7:00 p.m. The final home game of the calendar year comes on December 11 when the Monarchs host Neumann at 8:00 p.m.

The 2027 portion of the schedule begins at the Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Nichols College at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston, MA. The Monarchs will face Nichols on January 2 before taking on either Rivier or Saint Michael's on January 3.

Conference play resumes on January 8 and 9 with a road series at Lebanon Valley. King's then returns home for consecutive games against Wilkes on January 15 and 16, with both contests scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Monarchs remain at Revolution Ice Centre the following weekend, hosting Albright on January 22 at 7:00 p.m. and January 23 at 4:00 p.m.

The final road swing of the regular season begins with a two-game series at Arcadia on January 29 and 30 before King's travels to Alvernia on February 12 and 13. The Monarchs close out the regular season with a two-game homestand against Stevenson on February 19 at 7:00 p.m. and February 20 at 4:00 p.m.

The 2027 MAC Championship is set to begin with a play-in game on February 23, followed by semifinal action on February 27. The 2027 MAC Champion will be crowned on March 6, with an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Championship on the line.
