WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 7, 2026) -- The King's College football program has added Tony Grandinetti to its coaching staff, head coach Mike Cebrosky announced on Friday, bringing more than a decade of coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels to the Monarchs.
 
Grandinetti arrives in Wilkes-Barre following a stint as Special Teams Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at Donovan Catholic High School in 2025. Prior to that, he served as Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at The College of New Jersey during the 2024 season after spending two years at Montclair State University as the program's Special Teams Coordinator, Safeties Coach, and Strength and Conditioning Coach.
 
"It is with great excitement to add a veteran coach like Coach Grandinetti to our staff," said Cebrosky. "His experience coaching and developing young men will benefit our program in more ways than one."
 
Before returning to the collegiate ranks, Grandinetti enjoyed tremendous success as the head coach at Wall High School from 2017 to 2021. During his five seasons leading the program, Wall posted a 36-14 record and captured the 2019 Central Jersey Group III State Championship while setting a school record with a 12-1 season.
 
For his efforts, Grandinetti was named Shore Sports Network and Asbury Park Press Coach of the Year in 2019. He followed that season by leading Wall to a perfect 7-0 record in 2020, finishing the year ranked No. 1 in New Jersey and earning Friday Night Football Coach of the Year honors.
 
Grandinetti's coaching career also includes stops at Moorestown High School and Haddon Township High School, where he served in a variety of roles including defensive coordinator, offensive line coach, defensive backs coach, and special teams coordinator.

A 2001 graduate of Delaware Valley College, Grandinetti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration while competing as a fullback and long snapper for the Aggies football program. He later earned a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Management from Eastern University in 2025.
 
As an assistant coach, Grandinetti will assist with all aspects of the King's football program, including player development, recruiting, practice preparation, and game-day operations.
