WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 28, 2026) -- Following another strong week of competition, King's College Athletics has named senior opposite hitter Lindsay Arezina of women's volleyball and junior quarterback Jaelin Mims of football as the Monarchs of the Week.

Arezina, a senior opposite hitter from Collegeville, Pa., recorded nine kills, three service aces and one block in King's straight-set victory over Keystone College on Friday night for Senior Night. Arezina was one of three Monarchs honored before the match as part of King's Senior Night festivities.

Through the first 13 matches of the 2026 season, Arezina ranks second on the team with 71 kills.

Mims, a junior quarterback from Mount Laurel, N.J., helped lead King's to an 18-13 Homecoming victory over Widener University on Saturday at McCarthy Stadium. Mims completed 20-of-32 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns while adding 44 rushing yards. With 14 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Mims connected with wide receiver Devin Duana for the go-ahead touchdown to give the Monarchs the Homecoming victory.

Through the first three games of the season, Mims has thrown for six touchdowns, recording two passing touchdowns in each game, while throwing for 140 or more yards in all three contests. He has also rushed for at least 40 yards in each of the last two games.

The Monarchs return to action Tuesday, as women's volleyball travels to Lebanon Valley College for a 7:00 p.m. matchup, while football returns from its bye week Saturday, October 10, traveling to Eastern University for a 12:30 p.m. kickoff.
