Biography

2020-21: Was the No. 1 player for the Monarchs during his senior season, playing in the top position in singles in all but two matches in 2020-21...was a strong doubles player for the Monarchs, as he finished with a team-best five wins in pairs' play...picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win over Misericordia and Zack Hemond on April 10...was strong in doubles, earning an 8-7 win at No. 1 doubles to open the year with Logan Gregory over Wilkes...blanked Noah Drayton and Payton Argot of Misericordia 8-0 with teammate Nick Harth...also earned an 8-3 win with Harth against Arcadia at No. 2 doubles April 20...bested Lycoming with Joe Lennon 8-5 at No. 2 doubles...at No. 1 doubles on Senior Day, outlasted Jonathan Carasso and Zach Puccia of FDU 8-7 with Gregory...finished his King's career with a 32-29 singles' record while going 28-31 in doubles play as a Monarch...King's men's tennis finished the 2020-21 season with a 4-6 overall record, while going 3-4 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom and falling to FDU-Florham in the MAC Freedom Quarterfinals. 

2019-20: Had a strong junior season, playing mostly No. 2 during the fall before moving into the No. 1 position in the spring due to an injury of King's top player Tyler Millan...posted a 4-7 mark in singles action, going 3-1 in dual matches at No. 2...was also 3-8 in doubles on the season...made the MAC Individual Championships quarterfinals after posting a 6-2, 6-2 win over James McKane of Hood College...posted a three-match win streak to finish the fall season, posting a 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) win over Vince Paetow of Cabrini on October 19...later in the day, topped Lorenzo Fuga of Drew University in straight sets 6-4, 6-2...ended the fall with a 8-2 win at No. 2 over Penn College's Blake Whitmire...moved up to No. 1 singles for the Florida trip to start the spring...in doubles, made the MAC Championships quarterfinals after topping Ethan Snyder and Dan Zieno of Misericordia 8-0 with Cameron Tuck...King's finished the 2019-20 season 1-8 before the season was canceled on March 16, 2020 due to COVID-19 outbreak. 

2018-19: As a sophomore recorded a 8-7 singles record and a 7-7 mark in doubles play...Competed at No. 2 singles in the King's Invitational and at No. 1 doubles with Tyler Millan...Made it to No. 3 singles quarterfinals at MAC Individual Championships...As the three seed in No. 1 doubles at MAC Championships, Mackey competed with Millan going all the way to the finals before losing to Wilkes 8-4 for the title...Selected to the All-MAC Second Team...King's finished with a 10-10 overall record and a 4-3 mark in conference matches.

2017-18: As a freshman recorded a 20-6 record in singles play and a 9-11 record in doubles play ... As the third seed lost 6-4, 6-2 to eventual runner-up Elliott Kleckner of Lebanon Valley in the semifinals of number five singles at the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships after defeating Ethan Snyder of Misericordia 6-0, 6-0 in the first round and Josh Ferraro of DeSales 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 in the quarterfinals ... Lost 8-6 to Douglas Vaughan and Richie Abruscato of Stevenson while teaming with Josh Mesaris in the first round of number three doubles at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships ... Recorded a 15-5 singles record in dual matches including a 5-1 record in conference matches playing one match at number three singles recording a 1-0 record and playing 19 matches at number four singles recording 14-5 record ... Recorded a 4-2 overall record in doubles when playing with Cameron Tuck including a 2-2 record in dual matches playing three matches at number two doubles recording a 1-2 record and one match at number three doubles recording a 1-0 record ... Recorded a 0-1 overall record in doubles when playing with Josh Mesaris ... Recorded a 1-3 overall record in doubles when playing with Terry Briggs at number two doubles ... Recorded a 3-4 overall record in doubles when playing with Jason Homschek including a 2-1 record in conference play at number two doubles ...
