2023: Was one of seven Monarchs to appear in all 27 matches including 88 out of 89 sets as a senior outside hitter for the Monarchs...Ranked second on the team with 232 kills and 49 aces, third with 160 digs, and fourth with 15 assists while adding 24 total blocks...Posted a season-high 16 kills with two assists in the win over Wilkes (3/25/23)...Totaled a season-best 10 aces in a win at Dean (2/11/23)...Recorded 14 kills and a season-best 14 digs in a loss to #1 Stevens (3/18/23)...Posted a season-best five total blocks to go along with 11 kills and nine digs in a win at American International (2/10/23)...King's finished 20-7 overall and 4-5 in Middle Atlantic Conference play.

2022: Was one of four Monarchs to appear and start in all 26 matches as a crafty junior outside hitter for the Monarchs...Ranked second on the team with 181 kills and 127 digs...Totaled 525 attempts for a .236 hitting percentage with 24 total blocks, 12 assists, and 14 service aces for 209.5 points...Recorded season-highs of 13 kills for 14.5 points with an ace and a block in a win over Neumann (1/16/22)...Posted a double-double of 10 kills and 13 digs with four blocks for 12.5 points in a win over Emerson (2/19/22)...Tallied a season-best four aces in a win at Wilkes (3/30/22)...Named an NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year...King's finished 15-11 overall and 4-9 in MAC play.

2020: Led the Monarchs offense as a freshman outside hitter, appearing in all 23 matches and making 22 starts for 77 sets...Led the team with 262 kills, ranked second with 140 digs and 26 service aces, and ranked fourth with 35.0 total blocks and 11 assists...Hit .321 for the season...Recorded a season-best 24 kills and two assists with nine digs in a loss to CCNY (02/16/20)...Also totaled 20 kills and nine digs in a win over NJCU (02/22/20)...Posted the team's only two double-doubles for the season with 16 kills and 10 digs in a loss at Eastern (02/05/20) and 14 kills and 10 digs in a win at Lesley (03/03/20)...Tallied a season-high five total blocks and 25.5 points in a win over Yeshiva (02/16/20) and five aces in a win at Bard (01/25/20)...Named MAC Offensive Player of the week twice, once on January 20 and again on February 24...Named to the MAC Spring Academic Honor Roll...King's finished 17-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play...Team earned USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award.

PRIOR TO KING'S: Was a two-sport star for the Zephyrs of Whitehall High School, lettering in both football and volleyball...also a letter winner in hoops...named as the 2019 Whitehall football MVP as a senior...helped his football team to a District XI title in 2016 and 2017...captain of volleyball, basketball and football as a senior...named East Penn Converence MVP in volleyball in 2019, while also earning The Morning Call Volleyball Player of the Year in 2019...selected as Lehigh Valley Live Volleyball Player of the Year in 2019, as well as Whitehall Coplay Press Athlete of the Year...picked Eastern PA All-Academic all four years at WHS...chosen as All-State in volleyball in 2018-19, as well as earning East Penn Conference League MVP...led his team to District XI title, as well as EPC championship in 2019...Honor Roll recipient. 

PERSONAL: Parents Joe and Joan Herman...has one sibling, Nick...father Joe was a 1986 graduate of King's, where he played club volleyball...majoring in exercise science physiology...chose King's because "my dad is an alumni Class of 1986 and I always heard great things about King's College growing up. My dream was always to play multiple sports in college, as I have been a three sport athlete since middle school. King's coaches reached out to me and helped make my dream a reality."
