2024: Was sidelined due to injury and did not appear in any of the 12 contests as a sophomore defensive lineman for the Monarchs...King's finished 10-2 overall and 9-0 in MAC play before falling in the Second Round of the 2024 NCAA Division III Football Championships.

2023: Appeared in four out of a possible 11 games as a first year defensive lineman for the Monarchs...Recorded three tackles, 1.0 tackle for a loss of five yards, 1.0 sack for five-yards lost, and a quarterback hurry in the win over Albright (9/16/23)...King's finished 8-3 overall and 7-2 in MAC play to earn a spot in the Centennial-MAC Bowl series.

PRIOR TO KING'S: Competed in football, wrestling, and track and field for the Knights of Scranton High School...Named captain of the football team...Earned Defensive Player of the Year, All-League, All-County, and All-Region honors.

PERSONAL: Son of Carlos Martinez and Lauren VanDyke...Also a member of the King's men's indoor and outdoor track and field teams...An international business major...Chose King's College because "it was a great environment and felt like home."
