Biography

PRIOR TO KING'S: Played hockey for the Atlanta Jr. Thrashers AA, where she was named a captain... Previously a member of the Atlanta Madhatters, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes AA, Atlanta Ice Bandits and Rice Prep AAA programs... A three-year captain of the varsity track & field team for the Cougars of Alexander High School, where she won a Georgia 6AAAAAA championship... Was also a member of the track & field team for the Green Knights of Rice Memorial High School, winning a Vermont Division II Individual Track and Field championship in discus and earning runner-up in shot put... Participated in competition and sideline cheer.

PERSONAL: An exercise science major... Chose King's over Hilbert, Penn State, Alabama, Auburn, Rhode Island and Maine because of King's "outstanding exercise science program and its promising hockey program,"... Added "the community is inviting and filled with positive energy in which I would enjoy spending my college years"
