ABOUT KING'S COLLEGE ESPORTS

The King's Esports program currently sponsors five titles: ROCKET LEAGUE, LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, HEARTHSTONE, OVERWATCH, SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE, and VALORANT, with the hope of even further expansion on the horizon. Click on the link associated with each title to learn more about the game and its history at King's!

For most of our teams, King's competes in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC), which allows us to play in seasons with weekly matches against other schools across the country and at any division in the NCAA. Each team is placed in a division relative to their skill level. King's is also a member of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), which serves as the largest governing body of intercollegiate Esports in the country.

King's Esports is a varsity program run by the King's College Athletics Department in our state-of-the-art Esports Arena. Our facility features 1,625 square feet of space with 24 high-performance desktops with high-end peripherals and a lounge for players to hold meetings and socialize. Most importantly, the college has dedicated a gigabit fiber network and internet connectivity exclusively for the arena.

After becoming a varsity program in the fall of 2020, King's Esports has grown tremendously, both in roster size and in competition level. This coed program welcomes players at a variety of skill and experience levels with opportunities to be involved in a variety of aspects of the program.

Interested students can contact Director of Esports Adam Sebolka by email at adamsebolka@kings.edu. Whether its questions about how to get involved with King's Esports, a request to tour the facility, or any other questions relating to collegiate esports, both are open and willing to help in any way they can!
