BRIAN CAMPBELL

Brian Campbell enters his eight year as a member of the King's baseball staff and his second in the position of Special Assistant for Scouting and Recruiting.

Campbell had served three years as Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator, before spending three years as the Director of Scouting and Recruiting.

Much of the program's recent success can be attributed to Campbell who played a key role in the recruitment of 17 All-Freedom Conference selections, including 2006 "Pitcher of the Year" Paul Giovannoli, 2007 "Pitcher of the Year" and "Player of the Year" Caleb Calarco, and King's all-time hits leader Jon Venarchick.

From 1990-93, Campbell was a standout starter in centerfield for the Monarchs and helped King's to its first two league championships. He was a four-time MAC all-star with a .407career batting average.

Campbell is a full-time elementary science teacher in the Wallenpaupack Area School District. He resides in Greentown with his wife Stephanie and daughters Cailin and Kara.
