Biography

Marianne Paige is enters her 10th season as a member of the King's baseball staff in 2025 as "Extra Inning" Community Outreach Program Coordinator. Marianne is responsible for assisting Coach Greeley with coordinating the various projects of the highly successful community outreach program. The Extra Inning Club has helped various people and organizations in need over the years. Two of the staple projects of the program include the Jared Box Project, which has delivered close to 22,000 boxes of toys and games to sick children in various hospitals throughout Pennsylvania over the last 16 years, and The Challenger Division baseball game for Special Needs Children. The program also added a special project of interactive weekly visits with our country’s special Veterans at the VA Hospital in Wilkes Barre to go along with yearly projects: Pajamas for Foster Children, Blankets for Senior Citizens and Stockings for Soldiers, Essentials for Homeless Families and Supplies for mothers and babies in need.

Marianne, who also serves as the Vice President of Challenger Sports of PA, has been instrumental with incorporating the King's baseball players as "buddies" to the Challenger athletes each weekend. It has been an absolutely amazing learning and bonding experience for all involved. The King's players have gone well beyond the call of duty.
