Steve Distasio enters his 4th season as the pitching coach for the King’s baseball program where is responsible for the development of the pitchers on both the varsity and junior varsity teams. As recruiting coordinator, Distasio is responsible for assisting Coach Greeley with all aspects of the recruiting process.
Distasio, a former standout at Division I Bucknell University, was a four-year letter-winner for the Bison. Distasio earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Bucknell University, then went on to complete his Masters of Education degree at Wilkes University.
For the past 22 years he has been employed as an environmental science teacher at Pleasant Valley High School where he also coached baseball for 10 years.
He resides in Mountain Top with his wife Lynn, daughter Stephanie, and son Derek.
