MARTHA KERRICK

Biography

Martha Kerrick continues her stint with the Monarchs in the 2024 season as an associate head coach under full-time head coach Sara Myers.

Kerrick is no stranger to the King's sideline, serving as head coach from 2016 to 2023 and as an assistant coach for 15 seasons from 2001 to 2015. She then achieved the 100th win of her career as the Monarchs defeated Neumann, 2-0, September 21, 2024.

Previous Coaching Experience
  • Head Coach, Field Hockey, King's College, 2016-23
    • Led the Monarchs to the program's third conference championships in 2016, defeating FDU-Florham 1-0 in overtime to earn the spot in the NCAA Tournament. 
    • Had five MAC Freedom wins in 2016, the most since 2012, and seven home wins, the most since 2010.
    • Registered a 48-78 overall record through seven campaigns at King's and an overall head coaching record of 98-141.
    • Her teams have 21 shutout wins during her tenure and 35 games with three or more goals.
    • Coached 2 MAC Freedom First Team honorees, 9 MAC Freedom Second Team recipients, and 7 MAC Freedom Honorable Mention athletes.
    • Oversaw 17 NFHCA Scholars of Distinction, 101 NFHCA National Academic Squad honorees, and 5 NFHCA National Academic Teams.
