PRIOR TO KING'S: Played volleyball for the Comets of Crestwood High School...Had a standout senior season, earning All Conference Honorable Mention, Citizens Voice All Conference honors, and team most improved player...Helped lead the Comets to the District Championship and a third place finish in the Wyoming Valley West tournament in his senior year...Was a member of the Comets team that went to the state tournament in his sophomore year.

PERSONAL: Son of Neil and Alexis Martinchek...Has two siblings, Alayna and Hayden...A marketing major...Chose King's over Charleston, Erskine, and York "because it gave me an opportunity to stay close to home and continue playing the game I love. Coach Bernie’s success with men’s teams in the past was a huge part in my decision to come here. It also gave me the opportunity to play with some of my closer friends I played against in high school."
