King's College Athletics

For the third time in King's College athletics history, the NCAA has awarded King's among this year's recipients of the NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women's Internship Grant. This grant provided an opportunity to create a new role in the department, and after a national search the Monarchs announced the hiring of Chassity Bradford as the Assistant Sports Information Director and Game Day Coordinator.

The Division III diversity grants provide grant funding to members committed to enhancing ethnic minority and gender representation in athletics administration and assistant coaching positions. Bradford will transition into this new position in the department while still maintaining her spot on the King's women's basketball coaching staff. She will serve as the primary contact for several of King's varsity athletic programs while also taking on the role as Game Day Coordinator.

Bradford completed her third year on the women's basketball staff in 2024-25 and is involved with aspects of the program, including basketball operations, recruiting, academic monitoring, player development, and scouting, among others.

• 2022 graduate of Lakeland University with a bachelor's degree in sports management and leadership with a minor in business administration
• Four-year member of the Muskies women's basketball team that made three NACC tournament appearances, including two semifinals
• Three-year member of Lakeland's SAAC while also serving as treasurer
• Completed an internship in the Fall 2020 semester where she served as the athletic office and building intern to help the department enforce safe COVID protocols and policies, as well as aid Lakeland's athletic director with the completion of the NCAA self-study guide
• Spent time as a game day intern at Wisconsin Herd to help with promotional aspects, as well as fan engagement and game-day management.
