    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Jim Taylor joined the King's coaching staff in 2009-10. Coach Taylor owns a long, successful background in coaching as he had served 10 years as head boy's basketball coach and nine years as a girl's basketball coach, including three as the head coach at Pleasant Valley High School.

As an assistant, was a part of five consecutive Mountain Valley Conference girl's championships, including the 2002 District 11 title team that finished 27-3. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Missouri Valley University where he was a four-year letterman in basketball and baseball. Taylor then completed his Master's degree from Lehigh University.  

Coach Taylor was inducted into the Pleasant Valley Hall of Fame in 2009.

He resides in Effort with his wife Charlene and his daughter Jackie.
