ERICA KOVATS

Erica Kovats joined her alma-mater as assistant coach for the 2007 season.

Kovats was a three-year member of the Lady Monarch lacrosse squad where she played both offense and defense during her career.

As a freshman in 2004, Kovats scored eight points on seven goals and one assist with 24 ground balls. After sitting out her sophomore year to take advantage of a study abroad opportunity in London, England, Kovats returned to the program in 2006 where she scored 16 points on 14 goals and two assists with nine ground balls as a junior. As a senior, Kovats scored 13 points on 12 goals and one assist while totaling 11 ground balls. In her three year career, she totaled 37 points on 33 goals and four assists with 44 ground balls.

In her junior year in 2006, she helped King's to the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs as the team finished with a 9-6 mark.

She was also a fine student and graduated from King's in 2007 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Mass Communications. Kovats was also honored as an All-MAC All-Academic selection.
