Laurie Anthony was hired as King's new head women's lacrosse coach in July of 2007. She also serves as the assistant women's soccer coach at King's. Coach Anthony brings with her a successful background in lacrosse as well as soccer.

A 2006 graduate of Drew University, Anthony was a four-year varsity player in both soccer and lacrosse. In lacrosse, she was named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference team in 2005 and 2006 while earning IWLCA Regional All-American honors both seasons. Additionally, she was selected to play in the 2006 IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game. Anthony was twice named the Middle Atlantic Conference "Player of the Week". As a sophomore, she helped Drew to a Middle Atlantic Conference lacrosse championship in 2005 along with an Eastern College Athletic Conference title in 2004.

Anthony earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew in 2006 with degree in Political Science while adding a minor in Women's Studies. She was a two-time member of the Dean's List and earned the Drew Recognition Award all four years. She was also a member of the Drew Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during the 2005-06 year. Coach Anthony has also taught lacrosse and soccer at numerous camps and clinics since 2002.

Coach Anthony came to King's in 2007-08 after spending the previous year as the head lacrosse coach, physical education teacher, and personal health and safety education teacher at Haileybury College, a private school in Hertford Heath, England. She directed the lacrosse program, teaching the sport to girls ranging from 11-to-18 years of age, coaching three teams in the process.
