FRANK CARROZZA

In January, 2010, Frank Carrozza was named the new head women’s soccer coach at King’s College.

Carrozza comes to King’s after serving as the assistant women’s soccer coach at Misericordia University in Dallas the past four seasons. While at Misericordia, Carrozza was involved in all aspects of the Cougar program, including practice planning, scheduling, player instruction and development, recruiting, budget management, and travel.

He was also the head boy’s soccer coach at Lake Lehman High School prior to working one season as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Misericordia in 2003. 

As a four-year starter at Misericordia from 1999-2002, he helped the team to a 19-2 record, a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference, and a NCAA Division III National Tournament berth in 2000. He also earned All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference honors during his career.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Misericordia in 2003 and is in the process of attaining a Master of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management.

As an assistant women’s coach at Misericordia, he helped the Cougars to a 2006 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championship and an NCAA Division III national tournament berth. In 2007, Misericordia advanced to the PAC semi-finals and then received a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Southern Region Championships.  After Misericordia joined the Middle Atlantic Conferences in 2008, the Cougars reached the post-season in just their second season in the league.

Carrozza has received several licenses from the NSCAA. He owns a Premier Coaching License, a Director of Coaching License, a State Goalkeeping License, a Youth National Coaching License, and a High School Coaching License. Additionally, he is a NSCAA Associate Staff Coach.

A native of Orange County, NY, Carrozza graduated from Minisink Valley High School where he helped the Warriors claim two conference titles while being selected to the Orange County All-Conference team.
