FRANK CARROZZA

Biography

Frank Carrozza was introduced as the ninth head coach in program history in January of 2010. He will enter his 12th season in 2021 as the program’s all-time win leader. Carrozza has brought the program to new heights including contending for a berth in the MAC Freedom Tournament every year.

At King's Head Coach
 

  • Carrozza led the Monarchs to the program first postseason berth and a runner-up finish in the 2013 MAC Freedom Tournament earning MAC Freedom “Coach of the Year” honors.
  • Guided King’s to three consecutive MAC Freedom Tournaments from 2013-2015.
  • Named United Soccer Coaches Mid-Atlantic Region Staff of the Year in 2020-21.
  • Overall record of 64-111-13 while posting a 24-49-5 record in MAC Freedom play.

Program Milestones
  • Led program to first-ever MAC Freedom Tournament and runner-up finish in 2013; Started streak of three consecutive MAC Freedom Tournament berths ending in 2015.
  • Posted the top five fewest goals allowed in a season in program history including a program best 13 goals in 2017.
  • 2013: Four conference wins are the most in program history.
  • 2014: Five selected to All-Conference Team is most in program history.
  • Has had at least one honoree on All-Conference Team every year since 2012.

  • 2010 graduate of New England College with a Master of Science degree in Sports Management
  • 2003 graduate of Misericordia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management
  • Four-year letter-winner and senior captain on the men’s soccer team for the Cougars
  • All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Second Team (2002)
  • NCAA Tournament Qualifier after winning the PAC Championship in 2000 with a 19-2 record
  • Four-time PAC Tournament qualifier and played in the Championship match all four years
  • Won ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship in 2002
  • Holds a Premier Coaching Diploma, a Director of Coaching Diploma, a Youth National Coaching Diploma, and a High School Coaching Diploma from USC.
  • Earned a USSF "B" Coaching License from the USSF
