Anastasia Araviakis was named the Female Senior Athlete of the Tear after concluding an outstanding career for both the Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse teams at King's.  As a member of the field hockey team, she played in 73 games at King's and excelled in the midfield. In 2016, she helped lead King's to a Freedom Conference Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. While she posted 10 points on two goals and six assists in her career, scoring was not her primary responsibility as she effectively used her speed and aggressiveness to transition from offense to defense, and back to offense with ease.

As a women's lacrosse player, Araviakis was a dynamic scorer and helped lead the Lady Monarchs to four consecutive MAC Freedom Conference Tournament berths.  She finished her career ranked second all-time at King's in five major categories, including 258 points, 183 goals, 75 assists, 227 ground balls, and 239 draws. She was a four-time All-MAC Freedom selection who earned conference "Rookie of the Year" honors in 2015. She graduated form King's on Sunday with a degree in Mass Communications.
