William S. Scandlon Physical Education Center
William S. Scandlon Physical Education Center is the home to King's College baseball, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, athletic training and athletic department staff, along with the site of the Intermetro Wellness Center. It also houses classrooms dedicated to exercise science and athletic training.Â
In October of 2011, King's College began a recreation expansion project with the construction of a new addition behind Scandlon Gymnasium. The new addition provided all King's students with expanded facilities and increase opportunities for recreation and intramural sports while providing additional indoor practice space if needed.
On the second floor, the new addition will have three multi-purpose indoor courts, which will be used for basketball, indoor tennis, or a number of other activities. The first floor on the ground level will include several new athletic department offices, a multi-purpose classroom, and a new recruiting room/conference room. In addition, King's popular Athletic Training Education program will have a new sports medicine clinic built.Â
