KING'S SWIM TEAMS DROP OPENER TO LEBANON VALLEY 
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College swimming team opened the 2007-08 season on Saturday with a pair of losses to visiting Lebanon Valley College in Scandlon Gymnasium. 
The Lebanon Valley men won by a 117-71 margin, while the Flying Dutchmen women were also victorious by a 128-53 count. King's efforts were unfortunately hampered as several members of the team were ill for the meet. 
Eric Stencovage won the 50-freestyle with a time of 24.09, then captured the 100-breaststroke at 1:06.73. 
Rebecca Smith won the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:12.23, then placed second in the 50-freestyle at 29.16. 
Sara Schmader won the 100-freestyle with a 1:01.46 and was second in the 500-freestyle at 6:11.15. 
Also for the King's women, 
Caitlin Selitto was second in the 1,000-freestyle with a time of 13:42.90 while Jessica Thomas finished second in the 200-freestyle with a 2:29.90 
For the Monarch men, 
Brian Seslar was second in the 1,000-freestyle with a time of 12:21.90 while 
Patrick Seslar was second in the 500-freestyle with a 6:22.02 
Nick Ponte was second in the 100-butterfly at 1:12.27; Ron Argus was third in the 100-freestyle with a 56.83; while 
Caleb Farrell was third in the 1,000-freestyle with a time of 13:26.59.
