WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 13, 2026) -- The King's College men's and women's swimming teams are set to return to the pool this fall as head coach Kellyo Keane announced the 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The Monarchs will compete across a maximum of 19 competition dates throughout the season, including four home meets, a trip to the Electric City Invitational and the annual Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships in February.

The season begins on October 10 with a tri-meet featuring Wilkes and Marywood, hosted by the Colonels. One week later, King's opens the home slate against Lebanon Valley on October 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the program's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Meet.

The Monarchs return to the road on October 24 for a MAC quad meet at Messiah featuring Widener and Hood before competing in another multi-team meet at SUNY-Delhi on October 30 against Gallaudet and the Broncos.

November begins with a tri-meet at Stevenson on November 7 that also includes Lebanon Valley. King's then returns home on November 14 for the annual Mental Health Awareness Meet against Lycoming at 12:00 p.m.

The Red and Gold close out the month at the Electric City Invitational, scheduled for November 20-22, before returning home to host Marywood on December 4 at 5:00 p.m. King's wraps up the 2026 calendar year on December 5 with a road meet against St. Joseph's - Long Island.

Following the holiday break, the Monarchs return to competition on January 16 in a tri-meet at Lehman with York (NY). King's then travels to Misericordia on January 22 before heading to Moravian on January 23.Â

The final regular-season meet is scheduled for January 30 as King's hosts FDU-Florham at 1:00 p.m. During the meet, the Monarchs will recognize their senior class as part of Senior Day festivities. The following day, the program hosts its annual Red & Gold meet at 1:00 p.m.

The postseason begins on February 11 with the start of the 2027 MAC Championships. The four-day conference championship meet, hosted by York College at the Graham Aquatic Center, will conclude on February 14.
