KING'S WRESTLERS DOWN CENTENARY, 31-15
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ -- The King's College wrestling team overcame a 15-12 deficit by winning the last four bouts as the Monarchs posted a 31-15 victory over host Centenary College Thursday in Hackettstown, NJ.
With the win, King's improved to 7-9 in dual meet action.
Trailing entering the 174-pound match,
Mike Reilly started the comeback with a 13-4 major decision over Derek Schisler to put the Monarchs on top 16-15. At 184,
Zach Martinez then pushed the lead to 19-15 with a 7-1 verdict over Ben Ostner.
Zach Wilkinson and
Justin Bender would clinch the match with back-to-back pins at 197 and 285.
Other King's winners included
Ricky Dorsey who posted a pin at 125 while
Tony Miele and
Taylor Green earned decisions at 141 and 157.
