DALLAS -- The Misericordia University women's soccer team downed King's College 4-2 Tuesday night at Anderson Field.

Laura Suchoski of Misericordia posted the first goal of the game at 39:52, , the followed with a second shortly thereafter at 33:54. The Lady Monarchs would respond when Becky Chateauneuf laced a shot through a heavy pack of Cougar defenders at 62:15 to make it 2-1.

Just over three minutes later, the Cougars took a 3-1 lead when Lauren Payne struck net at 65:24.  Chateauneuf quickly answered with her second goal of the night at 67:32 to the right of the net and brought the Monarchs back within a goal at 3-2.

But Kelly Bergin scored an insurance goal for Misericordia at 82:09 with an assist from Jenica Keister.
