Look to Seal Spot in MAC Tournament

MEN'S SOCCER ON THE ROAD AT DESALES
WILKES-BARRE, PA--- The King's College men's soccer team will be on the road this weekend for a 2:30pm game at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. The Monarchs enter the weekend with a 13-1-4 overall record and stand at 3-1-3 in the Freedom Conference. A win this weekend would seal King's in the MAC Freedom Tournament as they look to get back to the Championship game for the second year in a row.
On the season, King's high-power offense is led by senior Cameron Audette, who has tallied 41 points on 17 goals and seven assists. Fellow senior Mark Timko, is playing solid soccer, netting six goals and four assists for 16 points. Freshmen Joe Bender and Billy Elliott are making noise in their rookie year, with Bender scoring four goals and five assists for 13 points and Elliott scoring five goals and earning one assist for 11 points. In the net, Sophomore Tim Kelly has played clutch in league action. On the year, Kelly has managed 63 saves and allowing just one goal per-game in his 1,355 minutes of play.
