KING'S MEN'S SOCCER POSTS 4-0 WIN OVER LANCASTER BIBLE
 
WILKES-BARRE –  Becky Chateaneuf scored two goals with one assist and Erin Tanner added two goals of her own to power the King's College women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over visiting Lancaster Bible College Tuesday night at McCarthy Stadium in the Betzler Athletic Complex.
 
King's opened the scoring at 21:59 of the first half when Tanner corralled a rebound off a save following a shot from Jade Zuniga and placed the ball inside the left post to give the Lady Monarchs a 1-0 lead.

The Lady Monarchs opened a 2-0 lead when Tanner drilled a pass from Chateaneuf inside the right post with 17:11 left in the first half.
 
King's added one more big goal to end the half when Brianne Schmidt delivered a perfect through pass to Chateaneuf, who carried the ball to the 15-yard line before placing her shot just inside the right post with 0:02 on the clock.
 
In the second half, Chateaneuf made it 4-0 when she took a loose ball at the 15-yard line and made good on a shot inside the right post with 31:29 left in the contest
 
King's outshot Lancaster Bible 22-2 and held a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks. King's goalie Rachael Donatiello made two stop in 63 minutes while Melissa D'Aniello finished the game without needing to make a save. Charger keeper Kirsten Shoemaker tallied 12 saves.
