KING'S SOCCER FALLS TO MORAVIAN, 2-0
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College men's soccer team suffered its first home loss in two seasons as the Monarchs dropped a 2-0 decision to visiting Moravian College Tuesday night at McCarthy Stadium,
With the loss, Moravian improved to 2-4-1 while King's slipped to 6-2. The Monarchs suffered their first defeat at the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex since the final home game of the 2007 campaign. In its last 19 games at home, the Monarchs registered a 14-3-2 mark.
Taylor Molinaro scored both goals, the first coming at 31:50 of the first half while the second came with 23:33 left in the contest.
King's outshot Moravian 8-6 and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
King's goalie Tim Kelly made two saves on the day.
The Monarchs return to action on Saturday when King's travels to meet Gwynedd-Mercy College at 12:00 noon in Gwynedd Valley.
