KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS IN DOUBLE-OVERTIME TO OLD WESTBURY, 3-2
 
OLD WESTBURY, NY -- Kelsey Durkot scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime period as host Old Westbury State posted a 3-2 victory over visiting King's College in a non-conference women's soccer matchup Sunday in Old Westbury, NY.

With the win, Old Westbury improved to 3-4 while King's slipped to 1-7. the loss marked King's second overtime defeat in the last three games.
 
King's opened the scoring just 0:34 into the contest when Jade Zugiga scored off an assist from Becky Chateauneuf. After Old Westbury tied the game on a goal from Cassandra Esposito, King's took a 2-1 halftime lead with Chateauneuf scored unassisted at the 31;39 mark.

King's would maintain the lead until Joanna Kettell struck net off a Sam Clancy assist at 63:54.  The game headed to overtime where Durkot tallied the game winner following a pass from Kettell at 103.10. 
 

Both teams had 20 shots while King's owned a 10-5 advantage in corner kicks.  Lady Monarch goalie Danielle Johnson made four saves in net.

King's will next travel to Scranton at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Stadium
