King's Women's Soccer Drops 2-0 Decision to Lebanon Valley

KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO LEBANON VALLEY, 2-0

WILKES-BARRE – The King's College women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Lebanon Valley Wednesday night at McCarthy Stadium.

With the win, Lebanon Valley improved to 8-3-2 while King's fell to 2-8.
Lebanon Valley took a 1-0 lead just 5:57 into the game when Stevi Laird made good off a rebound following a save on an initial shot by Sara Drabenstadt.

Nicole Snyder made it a 2-0 game with 11:46 left in the contest when she redirected a through pass off the foot of Drabenstadt into the Lady Monarch net.

Lebanon Valley outshot King's 23-0 and held a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Lady Monarch goalie Lauren Duguid was outstanding for King's, making 12 saves in net, including four big diving stops.  Lebanon Valley keeper Becca Sykes garnered the win without making a save.

King's returns to action Saturday when the Lady Monarchs travel to Doylestown to face Delaware Valley College in a 12:00 p.m. Freedom Conference matchup.
