WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College football team will return to the gridiron on Saturday when the Monarchs play host to Delaware Valley College at 1:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium in the Betzler Athletic Complex.

The Monarchs are playing their first game in two weeks after enjoying a much-needed off-week.  The rest is expected to result in the return of standout senior linebacker Ryan Cordingly who has missed the last four games with an injury.  Cordingly's return will be important as the Monarchs meet the premier program in the MAC over the last eight years.

During this time the Aggies have won 87 of 110 games, captured six Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) championships, two Eastern College Athletic Conference titles, and have made five trips to the NCAA Division III playoffs, including a pair of quarterfinal appearances. Delaware Valley has won the last four MAC crowns.
