KING'S SWIMMERS FALL TO HOOD

FREDERICK, MD -- The King's College swim team dropped a pair of matches to host Hood College Saturday in Frederick, Md.
King's women lost 165-90 while the men fell 200.5-51.5.
For the Lady Monarchs, Rachel Jonas won the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:14.50. Patricia Manning captured the 200-breaststroke at 2:41.52 while Brigid Wynn was second in the 1000-freestyle with a 11:38.45
Marybeth Rudy was second in the 100-breaststroke at 1:16.03 and also in the 200-breaststroke with a 2:45.7. Macawley brown finished second in the 100-freestyle with a 57.24 and was also second in the 200 individual medley at 2:25.58. Erin McLin touched second in the 100-butterfly at 1:05.16
Josh Shoemaker was second in the 100-breaststroke at 1:06.89 and in the 200-breaststroke with a 2:23.93. For the men, Joe Ciccarelli was second in the 100-backstroke with a 1:01.02.
King's will be idle until hosting he Diamond City Invitational November 23-24 in Scandlon Gymnasium.
