KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER EDGED BY EASTERN, 1-0ST. DAVIDS, PA --- Emily Cole scored the only goal of the game at the 12:13 mark as Eastern University posted a 1-0 victory over visiting King's College on Tuesday afternoon
With the win Eastern improves to 5-11 and 2-3 in conference play while King's falls to 4-7-2 and 1-3 in conference play.
Eastern pushed across what proved to be the game-winning goal in the first half when Emily Cole snuck the ball past the goalie inside the right post on a shot front the top of the box.
Eastern outshot King's 11-7 while King's held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Jessica Natale made three saves in goal for the Monarchs. Jules Leco made four saves in goal for the Eagles.
King's will next be in action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when they host Delaware Valley College at McCarthy Stadium.
