KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO MT. ST. MARY'S 

WILKES-BARRE -- Jordan Catapano scored the lobe goal of the game with 7:31 left in the second overtime period as visiting Mt. St. Mary posted a 1-0 victory over host King's College in a non-conference women's soccer matchup Wednesday night in McCarthy Stadium.

With the win Mt. St. Mary improved to 8-4 while King's slipped to 3-5-2.

After a scoreless 102 minutes the deciding goal came following a Mt. St. Mary corner kick. The corner went off a King's defender and bounced to Catapano whose shot from 23 yards found the upper right corner of the net to end the game.

The Knights outshot King's 27-3 and owned a 8-3 advantage in corner kicks King's goalie Gabrielle Murphy made 13 saves in the game.

The Lady Monarchs return to the field Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. contest at DeSales University in Center Valley.
