KING'S MEN'S SOCCER TRAVELING TO MISERICORDIA FOR FREEDOM CONFERENCE SEMI-FINALSWILKES-BARRE, PA --- The King's College men's soccer team will square off with local rival Misericordia University in the Freedom Conference semi-final matchup set for 7:00 p.m. at Mangelesdorf Field in Dallas, PA on Tuesday.
Tickets will be needed for admission to the game and as set by the Middle Atlantic Conference Office, are set at $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for students, while children under age-six will be admitted free.

http://misericordia.ezstream.com/The game will mark the third straight year the teams have met in the conference semi-finals and the sixth meeting between the teams over the last three years. In 2012 Misericordia won the regular season meeting 2-1 and the semi-final meeting 2-0. Last year King's won the regular season meeting 1-0 and then the semi-final game ended in a 0-0 tie with King's advancing to the championship game in penalty kicks 4-3. This season Misericordia won the regular season meeting 2-1 on a Nick vonEgypt goal with 2:29 remaining in the game.
King's is seeded third in the tournament with a 13-5-1 overall record while standing 5-2 in Freedom Conference games. Misericordia, the second seed, is 12-5-2 overall with a 6-1 conference record.
The Monarchs have scored 2.63 goals per game and have five players who have scored 10 or more points this season. Junior
Chris Nygren and senior
Niall Croke lead the team with 22 points each. Nygren has seven goals and a team leading eight assists while Croke has a team leading 10 goals and two assists. Junior forward
Daniel Hernandez has 14 points on five goals and four assists, senior
Korbin Keene has 13 points on six goals and one assist, and senior
Billy Brown has 10 points on four goals and two assist.
Defensively, King's has allowed 1.32 goals per game over 19 games. The defense has been led by seniors

David Stroh, juniors
Tyler Harlan and
Chris Conaty, and sophomores
Phillip Kistner and
Erik Foster.
In goal sophomore
Tyler Wilson sports a 1.29 goals against average while making 65 saves for a .722 save percentage and six shutouts.
Misericordia averages 1.53 goals per game while allowing 1.05. The Cougars have four players with 10 points or more this season led by senior Nick vonEgypt with 12 points on five goals and two assists.
Derek Antonini has 11 points on four goals and three assists while Niko Amity and Nate Mansfield each have 10 points on four goals and two assists. Rob Wiacek has scored a goal in the past four games for the Cougars. In goal Barry Fitzgerald has a 1.00 goals against average making 67 for a .779 save percentage and seven shutouts.
The winner will advance to Saturday's Freedom Conference championship game against the winner of the other semi-final meeting between top-seeded Eastern University and fourth-seeded FDU-Florham at the site of the highest remaining seed.
