KING'S MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO ARCADIAGLENSIDE, PA --- Bradley McKim scored five goals to lead the Arcadia Univeristy men's soccer team to a 7-3 victory over King's College on Saturday afternoon in Glenside.
With the win Arcadia improves their record to 4-2-1 while King's drops to 5-3.
Three of McKim's goals came in the first 14 minutes of the game as he struck the back of the net at 4:19 unassisted, then at 8:24 off of a cross from Matt Ross, and then again at 13:57 off of a cross from Joseph Bertucci to give the Knights an early 3-0 advantage.
King's got on the board at 22:27 when
Niall Croke scored off of a header from
Chris Nygren. However not even 20 seconds later McKim scored his fourth goal of the game at 22:45 to give Arcadia a 4-1 lead. Georges Fiori scored at 37:17 to give the Knights a 5-1 halftime lead.
Nygren scored on a free kick at 49:26 to cut the lead to 5-2 but McKim's fifth goal of the game at 50:22 and a goal from Matt Ross at 52:24 would give the Knights a 7-2 advantage.
Korbin Keene scored King's final goal right before the end of the game at 89:37.
King's and Arcadia both had 18 shots while Arcadia had an advantage in corner kicks 8-5.
Tyler Wilson got the loss in goal for the Monarchs allowing seven goals and saving three shots. Seth Shoap got the win in goal for the Knights saving five shots and allowing two goals in 65:58 minutes of play.
The Monarchs will next be in action on Wednesday when they host Baptist Bible College at 4:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium
