KING'S BASKETBALL TEAMS MAKING FREEDOM CONFERENCE HOME DEBUT SATURDAY VS. EASTERN
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's and men's basketball teams will make their Freedom Conference home debut Saturday with a doubleheader against Eastern University in Scandlon Gymnasium.
The women's game will tip off at 1:00 PM while the men's contest follows at 3:00 PM. Fans unable to attend can follow the game online at the links below:

The King's women stand at 1-9 on the year after a 47-43 loss at Delaware Valley in the conference opener on Wednesday. Eastern, meanwhile, is 9-3 after dropping a 64-48 verdict to DeSales in the Eagles league opener Wednesday.
King's has been led thus far by freshman power-forward 
Rebecca Prociak who averages 14.0 points and 8.1 rebounds per-game.  Sophomore forward 
Alexis Steeber follows with 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while junior center 
Olivia Hoffman adds 8.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 40 blocked shots wjhile ranking fifth nationally with 4.0 blocks per-game. Hoffman is within four blocks of equaling King's career mark of 207 blocked shots set by Heather Medashefski from 1996-1999
Senior guard 
Kayla Feairheller contributes 7.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, and a team-high eight three-pointers while senior guard 
Shae Grim chips in with 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds. The Lady Monarchs average 54.2 points per-game while allowing 66.1 each contest.
Eastern is paced by senior center Emily Lavin whop averages 18.8 points and 9.1 rebounds with 35 blocked shots. Sophomore forward Regie Robinson follows with 13.8 points and 11.5 rebounds while junior guard Taylor Price contributes 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. The Eagles average 65.5 points per-game while yielding 60.1 each contest.
King's men enter the matchup with a 4-7 record after a 74-64 loss at Delaware Valley in the Monarchs league opener Wednesday night. Eastern is 5-7 following a 87-53 loss at DeSales on Wednesday in its conference debut.
King's has been paced by senior power forward 
Dan Rutecki who leads the team with 14.2 points and 7.2 rebounds while standing second on the squad with 2.3 assists. Junior guard 
Connor Callejas follows with 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and a team-high 24 three-pointers while senior guard 
John Fazzini adds 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 17 three-pointers. Sophomore guard 
Jake Barber has tallied 7.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 13 three pointers while  Junior forward 
Chris Fazzini contributes 7.2 points and 3.3 rebounds. Freshman center 
Andrew Hudak has posted 5.7 points ad 4.6 rebounds while freshman guard 
Tyler Millan chips in with 5.4 points and 10 three-pointers off the bench.  The Monarchs average 71.5 points while yielding 73.5 each game.
Eastern is led by Shaquan Turk with 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 14 three-pointers. Austin Duncan follows with 11.3 points and 2.8 rebounds with 19 three pointers while Victor Pena adds 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds.  James Austin chips in with 9.3 points and 25 three-pointers. Eastern averages 77.0 points while allowing 81.3 each contest.
After concluding their games with Eastern, King's women will host Ramapo College Monday at 6PM in Scandlon Gym in the Lady Monarchs final non-conference game of the year. Both King's teams with then play at home Wednesday night with a Freedom Conference doubleheader against FDU-Florham. The women tip off at 6PM while the men follow at 8PM.
