KING'S VOLLEYBALL EARNS 3-0 VICTORY OVER PENN COLLEGE
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to five straight matches as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 victory over visiting Penn College of Technology Thursday night in Scandlon Gymnasium.
King's, which won by scores of 25-5, 25-8, 25-17, improved to 14-8 on the year. The Wildcats slipped to 2-8 with the loss.
Rachel Miller paced King's with 10 kills, seven aces, and five digs while
Maddie Kumm distributed 29 assists with eight digs.
Katelyn Shifflett followed with seven kills, two digs, and one block while
Jill Korgeski added six kills, 11 digs, and two aces.
Rachel Galante posted four kills, two digs, and two blocks while
Olivia Musto contributed four kills, and eight digs.
Alexis Swagler tallied four kills and 13 digs while
Hannah Gallagher had three kills and four digs.
Lindsey Brady totaled two aces, two digs, one kill, and one block while
Alyssa Robinson chipped in with six digs, three assists, and one block.
Savannah Slough led Penn College with four kills and seven digs while Corianne Wilson had 17 digs.
King's returns to the court Sunday with a 12:00 PM tri-match against host College of Saint Elizabeth as well as Pratt Institute.
