KING'S WOMEN'S HOCKEY DROPS 6-0 DECISION TO STEVENSON
REISTERTOWN, MD -- The host Stevenson University women's hockey team scored two goals in each period as the Mustangs posted a 6-0 victory over visiting King's College Saturday in the Sportsplex Arena.
With the win Stevenson improved to 3-6-1 and 2-1-1 in he United Collegiate Hockey Conference while King's slipped to 0-7-1 and 0-5-1 in conference play.
Allie Sabatini had one goal and two assists for Stevenson while Sarah Antonelli dished out two assists. Â
Kiva Sierra Stoltz allowed all six goals but made a remarkable 71 saves in the game. Stoltz, who has an NCAA-high 73 against Elmira two weeks ago, now has the top-two totals in all levels of NCAA hockey this season.
The Lady Monarchs will now be idle for the Christmas break and will play again January 5 at Cortland State University.
