KING'S BASKETBALL TEAMS CLOSING OUT SEASONS SATURDAY AT FDU-FLORHAM
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College basketball teams will play their final games of the season on Saturday when both squads travel to Madison, NJ to face FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference doubleheader in the Ferguson Center. The women's game tips off at 1:00 PM with the men to follow at 3:00 PM.

The King's women stand at 5-18 overall and 3-10 in the Freedom Conference after a 78-61 win over cross-town rival Wilkes on Tuesday . FDU, meanwhile is ranked 25th nationally in Division III and enters the game with a 21-3 record while standing 12-1 in league competition following a 68-48 win over Manhattanville on Tuesday. King's played well in th first meeting against FDU on January 11, forging a 31-31 tie at the half, but ultimately fell 69-59.
King's has been led by freshman power-forward
Rebecca Prociak who averages 11.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per-game. Sophomore forward
Alexis Steeber has tallied 8.6 points and 5.0 rebounds while junior center
Olivia Hoffman adds 8.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 92 blocked shots. Senior small forward
Kayla Feairheller follows with 8.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 49 assists and 25 three-pointers.
Senior guard
Shae Grim posts 5.2 points and 3.1 rebounds while sophomore guard-forward
Erin Schmidt nets 4.9 points with a team-high 31 three-pointers. Senior point-guard
Kasey Seitz chips in with 3.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 29 assists. The Lady Monarchs average 54.2 points per-game while allowing 64.7 each contest.
The Devils are paced by Kendrea Williams with 19.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 59 three-pointers. Alyssa McDonough follows with 16.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Rachel Groom adds 13.1 points and 9.4 rebounds. FDU averages 73.4 points while allowing 60.0 each contest.
The King's men stand at 5-19 overall and 1-12 in Freedom Conference play after a 84-68 loss at Wilkes Tuesday night. FDU is 7-17 and 4-9 league games after a 90-82 win over Manhattanville Tuesday night. FDU posted a 77-71 win over KIng's in the first meeting January 11 in Scandlon Gym.
King's has been paced by senior power forward
Dan Rutecki who leads the team with 14.4 points and 7.9 rebounds while standing first on the team with 59 assists and 26 steals. Junior guard
Connor Callejas follows with 13.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 47 assists, and a team-high 57 three-pointers. Sophomore guard
Jake Barber has tallied 7.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 31 three-pointers.
Freshman guard
Tyler Millan has tallied 6.1 points with 28 three-pointers while senior guard
John Fazzini adds 6.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 39 assists, and 25 three-pointers. Junior forward
Chris Fazzini contributes 6.0 points and 4.1 rebounds while rookie center
Andrew Hudak chips in with 4.8 points and 4.3 boards. The Monarchs average 68.4 points while allowing 72.0 per-game.
FDU is led by Anthony MItchell with 12.4 points, 3.4 assists, and 34 three-pointers. Donte Ali follows with12.0 points and 8.3 boards. Darren Davy contributes 9.8 points and 6.5 rebounds while Derek Leohner chips in with 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 31 three-pointers.
