KING'S BASKETBALL TEAM HOSTING DESALES WEDNESDAY
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College men's and women's basketball teams will conclude their first cycle of MAC Freedom Conference play Wednesday night when both team host a doubleheader against league rival DeSales University. The men tip off at 6:00 PM while the women play at 8:00 PM in Scandlon Gymnasium.

The King's men are 7-10 overall and 3-3 in MAC Freedom play after a 76-64 road loss to Wilkes on Saturday.
The Monarchs have been led by senior guard
Connor Callejas who averages 17.9 points with a team-high 47 three-pointers. Senior forward
Chris Fazzini follows with 12.1 points and 5.9 rebounds while freshman guard
Noah Tanner ads 9.6 points and 2.5 assists. Sophomore guard
Tyler Millan contributes 8.4 points with 21 treys while fellow sophomore guard
Joshua Bailey chips in with 7.9 points with 17 three-pointers. King's averages 80.6 points per-game while allowing 83.6 each contest.
DeSales stands at 13-4 overall and 4-2 in league games after a 90-83 home win over Misericordia on Saturday. Sophomore forward Kweku Dawson-Amoah tops the Bulldogs with 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per-game while sophomore guard Tracy Simsick follows with 11.8 points and 22 three-pointers. Junior forward Luke Connaghan ads 11.2 points with 5.9 rebounds while senior forward Conor James chips in with 10.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 31 three-pointers. DeSales averages 75.0 points per-game while yielding 67.6.
The King's women are 9-8 overall and 4-2 in MAC Freedom play following a 75-59 win over cross-town rival Wilkes on Saturday. DeSales, meanwhile, owns identical marks of 9-8 and 4-2 after a 74-67 home loss to Misericordia on Saturday.
The Lady Monarchs have been paced by sophomore forward Rebeca Prociak who averages 13.3 points and 8.2 rebounds. Sophomore guard
Mackenzie Yori follows with 11.8 points, , 2.9 rebounds, and a team-high 35 three-pointers. Junior forward
Alexis Steeber ads 11.6 points and 5.6 boards while senior center
Olivia Hoffman contributes 8.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 63 blocked shots. King's averages 60.7 points per-game while allowing 60.1.
DeSales is led by junior guard Leandra Sterner with 17.1 points while senior guard Kaitlin Kelly follows with 10.1 points. The Bulldogs average 67.9 points while yielding 60.3 each contest.
Both King's teams will then travel to Purchase NU on Saturday for a doubleheader at Manhatanvile College. The women play at 1:pp PM with the men to follow at 3:00 PM.
